Open Access Policy

The Brazilian Journal of Science is an Open Access journal, which means that all content is available for free, without costs to users or their institutions. There is only a small fee per article for the maintenance and sustainability of the journal. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other legal purpose without requesting previous permission from either the editor or the author, provided they respect the Creative Commons license used by the journal. This definition of open access agrees with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
