Time from Acceptance to Publication

Dear authors of the Brazilian Journal of Science,

Considering the continuous flow of submissions, the selection of external peer reviewers (a voluntary activity), as well as the stages of peer review, manuscript revisions, resubmission of revised versions by the authors, editorial reassessment, and the final processes of copyediting and publication, the average time from submission to publication in the Brazilian Journal of Science is approximately 90 days.

Please note that fast-track evaluation is not permitted under any circumstances. This editorial policy aims to ensure scientific quality, peer review integrity, editorial responsibility, and a strong ethical commitment to research, guaranteeing that all stages of evaluation, revision, and publication comply with international best practices in scientific publishing.
