Change from Periodic Publication to Continuous Publication (v. 3, 2024)

Dear authors of the Brazilian Journal of Science,

Following the trend of scientific journals around the world, the Brazilian Journal of Science announces that it will change its editorial flow from “Periodic Publication” to “Continuous Publication”.

This change will bring more agility to the editorial process, especially in the publication stage of accepted articles.

In the continuous publication model, the need for all articles to be finalized before publishing the issue is eliminated, that is, as the editorial process of an article is completed, it will be published immediately. And the complete edition will be closed at the end of the period.

The journal continues to value the quality of the review process, which will not be changed, continuing the double-blind review by reliable peers, without conflicts of interest with the works they evaluate.
